Today we had a very interesting meeting with the payload groups. We plan to bring 2U/2kg of payload. The question is what to bring? Jan-Erik from IRF had put together very good payload groups. After having realised that some were not really going to fit the envelope or making the schedule of development we really have three possible payloads left. A multi spectrometer (see picture), a very good camera, and a magnometer. With this payload we should be able to perform the objectives of the mission. The meeting will continue tomorrow with all the technical details. It is amazing how small instruments seems to be able to do great things. It is not only spacecraft components that is being made smaller, payloads are as well it seems like.
